Terms of Service

The short version
NVlab translates your Google documents using AI. You pay per document — no subscription, no hidden fees. Your files stay in your Google Drive at all times. By using the service you agree to these terms. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that specific job.
1. Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of NVlab’s AI document translation service (“NVlab”, “we”, “us”), accessible at nvlab.id. By creating an account or submitting a translation job, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
NVlab provides AI-powered translation of Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets files. You submit a link to a file in your Google Drive; we read the content, translate it using Claude (Anthropic), and write the result to a new file in your Drive. The original file is never modified.
The service is provided on a pay-per-document basis. Pricing is shown before you confirm any job. No subscription or recurring charge is applied without your explicit consent.
3. Your account
- –You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use the service.
- –You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- –You must not share your account with others or use another person's account.
- –You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- –You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
4. Payments and pricing
Pay-per-job
Each translation job is charged individually. The price is shown before you confirm and depends on document length and language pair.
Currency and tax
Indonesian users pay in IDR via Midtrans. International users pay in USD via Stripe. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Midtrans (IDR) or Stripe (USD). NVlab does not store your full card number. By submitting payment, you authorise the charge shown.
Failed jobs
If a translation job fails due to a technical error on our side after payment is confirmed, you are entitled to a full refund or a free retry — your choice. See section 5.
5. Refund policy
Because each job consumes real API and compute resources, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis:
- ✓Full refund: job failed due to a server-side error and no output was produced.
- ✓Full refund: we are unable to deliver the translation within 24 hours of confirmed payment.
- ✕No refund: translation was delivered but you are unsatisfied with quality. Quality is inherent to AI — we cannot guarantee perfection.
- ✕No refund: you submitted the wrong file or language pair.
To request a refund, email support@nvlab.id with your order ID within 7 days of the job date.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use NVlab to:
- –Translate documents you do not own or do not have permission to translate.
- –Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
- –Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
- –Circumvent payment (e.g. by cancelling charges after receiving the translated output).
- –Use the service for bulk automated translation without written permission from NVlab.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.
7. Intellectual property
You retain full ownership of your original documents and the translated output. NVlab claims no ownership over any content you submit or receive.
The NVlab platform, brand, software, and design are owned by NVlab. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from them without written permission.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages (Google, Anthropic, Midtrans, Stripe), or events beyond our control.
Translation jobs are typically completed within 2–5 minutes. For large documents or during high-load periods, jobs may take up to 24 hours. If a paid job is not completed within 24 hours, you are entitled to a full refund (see section 5).
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose (including legal, medical, or financial documents). AI translation quality varies by language pair and document complexity. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it professionally.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NVlab’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job that gave rise to the claim.
NVlab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Jakarta, Indonesia.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users at least 14 days before taking effect. The updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
